Michelle is an absolute gem. I felt comfortable and connected with her immediately. She is kind, personable and eager to share her knowledge about birthing and lactation. She walked me through what to expect and how she would be part of my birth and postpartum journey. She is an excellent communicator and attentive listener. She always kept my needs in mind throughout the birthing journey. She was hands on during labor and available to answer questions from my partner and family throughout the process. She also helped me through weeks of postpartum recovery really tuning into my needs and providing support and validation for my experience. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Having had the opportunity to work with Michelle was truly a gift. She supported me emotionally and physically through my later pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I can say without a doubt that I would not have had the beautiful and empowering birth of my son had it not been for her support and guidance.

There’s something comforting about her process and insight through her own birthing experiences. Michelle made herself available through text and phone calls at all times, responded to any questions or concerns I had immediately, and brought such warmth and calmness to every session we had. She provided me with so much education that aided me through every contraction, giving me the confidence to have the birth I really wanted. Not only was her support essential for me as the birthing person, but she was such an essential guide for my partner and gave him the confidence and education so that he was able to support me in every step of the way.

Michelle truly loves what she does and that is felt, from practicing breathe work, and contraction positions during prenatal visits to bringing me homemade lactation cookies and sitz bath mixtures during postpartum. I have felt so cared for throughout my work with her. She has really enlightened me and I am such an advocate that every birthing person should have a doula regardless of what kind of birth you want. I truly can’t recommend her enough and feel so fortunate that we found each other during my search for a doula.

As a first-time mom navigating the whirlwind of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, I couldn’t have been more fortunate to have found an absolute gem of a doula in Michelle. From the moment I met her, I knew I was in capable and caring hands.

Throughout my pregnancy, Michelle was a constant source of support and reassurance. She took the time to address all my concerns, patiently explaining every step of the process and ensuring I felt empowered to make informed decisions about my birth plan. Her wealth of knowledge and experience were evident as she guided me through the often overwhelming journey of pregnancy with grace and compassion.

When it came time for the big day, Michelle was an invaluable advocate by my side. At the hospital, she seamlessly navigated the medical environment, advocating for my preferences and ensuring that my voice was heard every step of the way. Her calm presence and unwavering support provided me with the strength and confidence I needed during labor and delivery.

I cannot recommend Michelle highly enough. Her exceptional skills as a doula, coupled with her warmth, compassion, and unwavering support, made all the difference in my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. I am forever grateful for her guidance and friendship, and I know that any expectant mother would be incredibly fortunate to have her by their side during this transformative time in their lives.

Working with Michelle was one of the best decisions we made for me, my pregnancy, and our family. From our earliest interactions during her classes in our home, she demonstrated a depth of knowledge about evidence-based birth and was so patient when answering our questions and asking questions of her own to learn more about what I wanted for my hospital birth. I also love that she took time to get to know me and my husband as individuals and a couple. Not only did it demonstrate a sense of care for our family, but enabled her to understand our dynamic which helped when supporting both of us in labor and delivery.

As we got closer to delivery, Michelle answered all my texts and took time to check in with me via phone on the most difficult days. I always felt comfortable sharing my worries and fears with Michelle—she has a natural sense of empathy which made me feel so supported. When my birth plan changed and I elected to be induced, Michelle made sure I was informed and supported in my decisions.

After my daughter was born, Michelle’s support during the postpartum period was valuable beyond measure. From supporting my physical recovery and lactation, to helping me feel pampered in the comfort of home, and being someone I could cry/vent/laugh with is something that I’ll carry close to my heart for a long time.

The birth of my daughter is something I’ll never forget, and I am so grateful Michelle is entwined in that memory.
