How much does it cost to use Meela?

Meela is completely free to use for parents and expecting parents. Once you find and hire a doula, you will work with them to set up a payment plan based on the services they are providing. There is no commitment to hire any of the doulas on Meela.

Your doula and you will agree upon your preferred fee structure, and your doula will send you itemized invoices through Meela. You can then pay securely through the app in just a few taps.

What is virtual doula support?

Virtual doula support provides the same level of emotional and informational support that you get from in-person doulas, except delivered via phone and video chats. Virtual doula support is almost always provided by a doula who also provides in-person prenatal, labor, and postpartum support.

Virtual doula packages can vary by doula. Some offer individual prenatal or postpartum sessions, while others offer their services through a predefined package of sessions and resources.
