My birth and postpartum practice is nearly a decade old! I started birth work shortly after the birth of my only child and have served over 100 families since. My practice philosophy is rooted in ancestral medicine and traditional birth and postpartum practices that encourage following the intuition of the birthing person and encouraging them to trust their own intuitive wisdom. New parents are like newborn babies, trying to make sense of their new reality while caring for a new human. I am here to help make the transition smooth and easy, through hands-on and home support.

I am a Traditional Postpartum Care Specialist and my philosophy is rooted in Mesoamerican practices that focus on "mothering the mother". I come from the Mexica lineage who, in Indigenous tradition, follow the postpartum practice of the cuartentena which is intensive care and support for the new parents, especially the birthing parent during the first 40 days of your new baby's life.

Base Birth Doula Package

$ 2000

This is my basic Birth Doula package which includes 2 prenatal at the client's home, time on-call from 38 weeks gestation until baby is born, supporting the family throughout the labor and birth process, and 1 postpartum visit..

Traditional Postpartum Care Package

This cost of this package depends on how many postpartum visits you would like to schedule. Usually booked in increments of 2, 4, or 6 visits within the first 40 days of baby's life, each visit is about 3-4 hours and includes warming and nourishing soups, teas, the option of hands-on support (postpartum massage, herbal bath, vaginal steam, rebozo massage) as well as light cleaning and home organization. Each visit is $380.

Placenta Encapsulation

$ 400

Placenta Encapsulation includes the pick up of the placenta at your birthing location, processing of the placenta, and drop off of the finished product.

Danellia was so knowledgeable, available, and attentive. I felt so prepared and equipped leading up to the day of childbirth. When she arrived in the hospital to support me I cried tears of joy because of her soothing demeanor and wealth of experience and knowledge represented safety for me in a time that honestly only she could offer.
