Practice overview
With my first, I was told I shouldn’t bother to breastfeed because babies in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) don’t usually breastfeed for long. I had to fight too hard to make breastfeeding work for us, but we went on to have a successful nursing journey. This is a huge part of why I got into lactation support- I want everyone to have that same success. From prenatal visits to troubleshooting latch or returning to work, I’m here to help you meet your goals!

She was more than supportive to me and my family with questions during both pregnancy and postpartum. Her care was tailored specifically to me and my wishes while also making a stressful situation (breastfeeding) as easy and seamless as possible. She always made me feel comfortable and I never hesitated to reach out to her with any questions that arose. Her warm personality would be an asset to anyone who is looking for help or additional resources when it comes to anything related to lactation.

No matter the issue you are facing or questions you have, she will be there to help guide. After getting little to no help with breastfeeding at the hospital after having my son, having an advocate like Alyssa was a breathe of fresh air and gave me the confidence to keep trying. No matter what family needs you have, Alyssa is the right consultant for you!
