I was called to birth work over 20 years ago, after assisting the arrival of my youngest sister. Birth is a human right, and I believe all humans deserve a safe and supported birth. I began my doula training in 2017 with ToLabor. I had my first child in 2019, with a doula by my side and it cemented my desire to support other laboring persons on their path. I am certified with PALS as of 2021, and ToLabor as of 2022. I am married and have 2 children. One was a birth center transferred to the hospital pre labor and the other was born at home in a tub. I h a p p i l y support any and all birth scenarios. I am fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19. Prenatal Care: 2+ visits to answer questions, review or create birth preferences, go over comfort measures, set up a postpartum plan, share resources and get to know each other. I'm available your entire pregnancy via phone/text/email. Labor/Birth: I will be on call 24/7 2 weeks prior to your EDD and until you go into labor. Once I join you, I will be a continuous support physically and emotionally through your entire labor (barring any extraordinary circumstances). Post Partum: I will visit 2-3 times (more can be arranged) to ensure your needs are being met, you are feeling supported & connect you with any resources you need. I originally signed up just for Nancy’s Hypnosis for Birth classes and discovered she was also a birth doula. After her consultation call, I knew I had to sign up for both services!
Her hypnosis classes were by far the best birth classes I had ever taken. I took a birthing class with my firstborn, but I didn’t feel like it gave me tools I could use for labor. However, I became so prepared with Nancy’s and learned SO much! These classes are a MUST for anyone who is expecting.
As my doula, I trusted her and felt safe in her knowledge when it was time to get to the birthing center. She knew it was time to go as soon as I called her, which was helpful because I wasn’t sure if it was yet that close to giving birth. She ensured I was comfortable during my labor and that both my husband and mother felt a part of the experience.
If you can work with Nancy, I highly recommend it! If you can take her class and hire her as a doula, it is the BEST combo! I recommend Nancy to any expecting mother who wants to feel confident and have actual tools to help support her during labor.

At the time I was couch surfing with my 3 older kids and was planning to have a home birth. Things were scary and unknown but when Cynthia became my doula, I felt a safe. She did everything in her power to support me and my wishes. Cynthia provided appointments and information prior to birth. Showed up as a strong and steady force at my birth. Supported me postpartum with meals, encapsulating my placenta, making postpartum tinctures, meals. Etc. I recommend her services to everyone I know. She cares deeply about her clients and supporting women to achieve their dream birth.
