    I have been teaching and working with expecting Mommas and their partners since 2001. I have had 4 natural births and have attended a wide variety of births. I am passionate about helping families have better birth experiences, with a focus on how to labor naturally using a variety of effective techniques, positions, tips and tools and help you avoid unnecessary medical intervention. I also provide coaching at any stage and postpartum care.

      Amina was wonderful to work with. She was very good about helping me stay hydrated and calm. She also did a great job with our Bradley classes leading up to the birth.

      Amina served as my doula for my 4th baby… Who is born in May of 2020 (in the beginning of covid shutdowns!) as always planned- a home water birth. She was so kind, supportive and helpful through the process and also took wonderful, over in a lifetime photos of my birth that are priceless. She is very gentle and at times I needed a firmer touch or firmer voice, but I would highly recommend Amina, especially if your partner is an engineer like mine. Lol. I loved my midwife team, (from Eastside birth center) who delivered my baby, but knew I needed a bit more support from a doula. Amina will take good care of you and likely capture some beautiful pictures along the way.

      I hired Amina after the birth of my child.She was always supportive, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She made me feel more confident and less overwhelmed as a new mom. The postpartum massage helped me feel more calm and balanced, and I noticed a significant improvement in my mood and sleep quality. I highly recommend hiring Amina if you want to have a smooth and positive transition into parenthood.

      Wow! I honestly believe I would not have been able to have a Vbac without Amina! She EMPOWERED me. I took a birthing class with her, and then I requested her as a Doula! She did NOT disappoint. She was encouraging, calm, reliable, informative- and during my labor, she helped call me down and guide me the entire time. She was right by my side bringing me sips of water and snacks. My husband and I credit her completely. During my labor, my husband forgot everything we practiced, haha. But Amina saved the day. She’s one of my favorite people in the world. She’s wise, non judgmental, just absolutely wonderful. I am so grateful. She was reliable to show up and not wait till the last minute to come to me during my labor. I’m so grateful for her kindness and responsiveness. She offered sliding scale (because we literally could not have hired anyone without it). She was very very good to us. THANK YOU AMINA for making my VBAC possible! You are forever etched into my memories, and have changed the course of my birthing history forever. Thank you Doesn’t cover it. We LOVE Amina!
