    Care philosophy

I embrace matrescence, respect autonomy and innate maternal intuition, and support normal physiological birth at home. Lactation care involves listening to the mother, helping identify and meet feeding goals, give counseling and support, and work through various breastfeeding related issues that may afflict mother and baby. Brushing off a mothers concerns or inciting guilt are unacceptable.

Zoe and I have worked together in the birth space for about a year. She is my backup doula, and I would fully trust her with any of my clients. She is a very knowledgeable lactation consultant. I recommend all my clients see her if they need feeding support.
