Where to begin? Sherri makes pregnancy, birth, and all things postpartum seem totally normal and comfortable. She explains everything with a patience and calmness that makes everyone in her presence feel heard, valued, and content. She calmed my nerves and the nerves of my partner in a way that still sticks with us through parenthood. She’s hands-down one of the BEST birth professionals I’ve ever encountered (and I’ve had 3 unmedicated water births). We continued to pick her as our doula as she is now family when it comes to helping me labor. I 10/10 recommend her to any and all expectant or postpartum mothers.

I loved working with Sherri. I’m a former client AND a current client. For our first birth, we interviewed 7 or 8 doulas, and Sherri won us over with her calm presence, knowledgable answers, and respect for my medical providers. Harmony in the delivery room was essential to me, and Sherri came highly recommended from my midwives themselves. In the days leading up to my birth, Sherri checked in on me via text and anytime I had questions or concerns, she was always there with reassurance and information. She has a professional way of allowing the mom to guide the process but also offers her support and guidance when asked. During delivery, she was exactly what I needed. She allowed my husband to be my support person, but she could easily sense when he needed a break or had a question or concern. She provided physical pain relief to me and helped be there for me emotionally during some of the more difficult and painful moments, like transition. She always told me what to expect next but in a very gentle manner which was exactly what I needed to stay calm. Because of Sherri’s support, I birthed my daughter exactly how I wanted to, and the experience was perfect. She offered postpartum advice and support and came for a visit when my daughter was 10 days old. Now that I’m 31 weeks pregnant with my second baby, signing Sherri into our birth team again was a no brainer. I actually told Sherri we were pregnant before telling our families! I can’t wait for our next story together!
