It was only me and the father of my child. That was our first experience and so much we did not know. I needed more guidance and physical/emotional support than I had. I wanted my next experience to be different and with a doula. Shani was exceptional! She genuinely cared and was very knowledgeable and professional. She was extremely supportive through my moment of vulnerability and it made all the difference in my outcome this time around. I felt less stressed knowing that I had her in my corner. I definitely would use her services again!

Shani made space for all of my emotions no matter what I was feeling and offered reassurance, words of encouragement, and helpful guidance.
Our experience with the hospital staff wasn’t good but Shani advocated for me and made sure that our little family was not only heard but well taken care of.
After delivery I was struggling with breastfeeding our baby, Shani assisted me in getting her to latch and showing me techniques on how to do so.
She made sure I was always in a good place mentally and that both my fiancé and I felt comfortable throughout the postpartum period. Her gentle and calming nature helped ease our anxieties.
I was so impressed with Shani’s knowledge, expertise, and warm demeanor. Her loving spirit ,& wisdom made for exceptional care. I can whole-heartedly recommend her services.
