Madhu was such an essential part of my pregnancy and labor, providing so much information and support! Even though this was my third pregnancy, she was able to educate my partner and I with vital techniques that we were not previously aware of. Helpful information throughout every stage of the pregnancy, as well as, emotional support when needed. Madhu made sure to include my partner and build a working relationship, providing a calm and assuring environment during my labor. Very hands on during the labor process, jumping right into a much needed role (especially when your partner might need a break or unsure of how to provide support). Loved having Madhu’s presence during my labor experience!

Madhu was amazing and professional. She gave myself and husband needed support. She was comfortable to be around and we valued her suggestions and help as she made herself available when we needed her support. I would 100% recommend her to others and be inclined to call her for more support in the future!

I’m honored to call Madhumitha a student I trained as a birth and postpartum doula, a co-collaborator for advocacy in maternal health, a mentee, and most of all, a friend. She is compassionate and kind and works with integrity.
Madhumitha is well-read and understands the importance of evidence-based birth research and keeping up with the birth world by enrolling in continued education classes.
I witnessed firsthand how she believes in building relationships with clients and families and supports them in making decisions.
Madhumita and I collaborate in our community by volunteering our time to bring awareness to the needs of birthing families. She is passionate that all families get the support they need during their birth journey.

We had a wonderful experience working with Madhu! She was always available to provide quick and evidence based support throughout our pregnancy and help us feel confident about our decisions each step of the way. When I found out my baby was breeched at 38 weeks – Madhu kept a positive spirit and helped educate me on ways to encourage the baby to flip, but also how to prepare for a c-section. I ended up needing a c-section and used Madhu as a support the day of. She was invaluable during the surgery as I started to feel ill and she kept both my husband and I calm and comfortable. I was unable to do immediate skin to skin and Madhu stayed with me as my husband took the baby to do skin to skin instead. She also made sure my birth plan was followed through during surgery so my husband and I didn’t need to stress about checking in with the doctors. She guided me through breast feeding both during recovery and also after we left the hospital. Madhu continues to check in on us and the baby snd offer advice to help us navigate this new chapter of our lives. We would highly recommend Madhu to anyone looking for a doula!

Madhu was such an asset to my birth support team! From the first time I met her, she thoroughly listened to mine and my partners wants and needs and supported me the entire time. Having her as my doula really helped me have the birth I dreamed of. At every meeting, my partner and I learned something new and how to prepare for the arrival of our baby. So when the time came, we felt well equipped and prepared to stick to my birth plan. She provided us with comfort measures, information to make our own decisions, and most importantly peace of mind. I definitely recommend having Made as your doula!
