Practice overview
My first job is mother. I have three young children who are my pride and joy. They encourage me everyday to be a better person and I realize that our relationship begins forming during pregnancy. I became a doula after I saw mothers and babies being separated in hospitals in the early days of the pandemic. I couldn't fathom a greater disservice to families and I wanted to try to help. Since then though, I have realized that it is not my job to "save" women. I am here to give you a glimpse into what the perinatal year can be when you take back the power and control of your birth. I'll stand by you, providing you with unwavering support, as you work towards a blissful experience that you and your baby earn together. I am willing to offer many different types of care, including birth support, postpartum care, virtual connection, breastfeeding and childbirth education, parenting support and friendship. I'm a believer of healing trauma and mending relationships and will help you to navigate these complicated human emotions. It has surprised me how many different pieces of our past can arise during pregnancy and birth and I love for my families to be ready to connect those ties. The perinatal year is a very spiritual experience, and I thank God that I get to do this glorious work.
