Practice overview
I have worked with pre and post clients for 10+ years as a fitness coach. My practice is called "One Body One Journey", because I believe in supporting my clients with their personal "journeys". My drive to become a postpartum doula is to help families further with wellness during the 4th trimester. The postpartum period can be overwhelming and I strive to help you feel calm and confident so that you can enjoy the miracle before you. I will provide non-medical/non-judgmental physical and emotional support. I will provide guidance with newborn care, diapering, bathing, feeding and sleep cues. I'm a certified breastfeeding counselor and will support you with lactation, pumping, and provide resources and referrals. I provide a calming encouraging space, so that you feel supported and heard.

She is extremely knowledgeable and caring. Diane was there for anything we needed; from creating a very positive experience on breastfeeding, sharing referrals on experts, easing our minds from our anxieties due to her experience, or just allowing us to catch up and recharge. As first time parents she really helped us gain confidence and we would absolutely trust her any day with our baby boy!!

I had an unexpected emergency c section. Diane really listened and helped ease my trauma and fears. She is non judgmental and made my husband and I comfortable even when we felt like we were asking stupid questions. She helped me on my breastfeeding journey and helped fit me correctly for the pump. She recommended other professionals after noticing signs that our son may have a tongue tie, she has an extensive network. We had Diane back several times in the first few weeks as she is so knowledgeable and her calming presence is extremely helpful. We learned so much from Diane, she even helped with the first bath, washed bottles and constantly checked in via text off hours to see how we were all doing. She was always available for questions or concerns. Diane truly cares about you and your baby’s needs and we highly recommend her!

Diane met us on our first day out of the hospital and guided us through the basics of newborn care and postpartum recovery. She listened to each of our questions and patiently provided answers tailored to our needs. She also kept in touch with us through text messages which was really sweet and reassuring. Highly recommend, great help!

She helped eased some of my concerns as a new mom and was extremely calming, caring and open minded in her approach. She is also very warm and kind with your little one and attentive to their needs (playing with and talking to them, soothing etc.) which is important to me.
