Way, iskwist Sierra Sanchez. I am a mother, a descendant of the Coeur d'Alene Tribe, and an archery enthusiast! I am a very grounded person. I can be excitable at times, but I generally keep a calm demeanor. I love to joke and laugh, but I also understand when it is time to be serious. I am very caring an empathetic to others' needs. I am a busy body and love being active. I was raised on the Spokane Indian Reservation in Ford, WA. I grew up in a low-income household most of my life, but never realized it because of the tremendous love and support I felt from my family. As an adult this has lead me to serve those from the same type of communities. I am on a mission to bring affordable doula care to Indigenous and low income families. I am currently partnered with the Indigenous Birth Justice Network to provide doula services free of charge to Indigenous families! I have always had a calling to serve others in a way that feels authentic and meaningful. After having my first child at home I was inspired to become a doula. I feel that this calling has fulfilled my dream of genuinely serving community as well as satisfied my desire to continuously learn and share knowledge with others. Having my son was a lifechanging event. Not just because I have a kid now, but because it made me re-evaluate my values and traditions. As soon as I found out I was pregnant I knew I wanted to dive deeper into my culture and pass on traditions that are unique to our people. It is because of him that I have reconnected with my Indigenous roots. I am proud to say I am currently learning Salish as well as other cultural practices. I hope to pass ancestral knowledge to my children and help them feel that they are a part of something bigger than themselves. I am so excited to continue on this path. ♥️

Care philosophy

It is my mission to serve all. Creating confidence and enhanced comfort through doula care tailored to your needs. Fostering peace of mind with emotional and practical support. All to provide a joyful perinatal experience. I am currently partnered with the Indigenous Birth Justice Network to provide doula services free of charge to Indigenous families!

I always knew I wanted to help support pregnant people have their babies, I just never realized that being a doula was an optimal way to do that. By providing resources, emotional support, and helping you to know your options and then advocate for you (when needed), it is my hope that your labor and delivery go as you want them to go. The pandemic made me realize that there are so many people who need to be supported during this special time of life and that it was exactly what I needed to be doing, helping them. I've been a caregiver of the elderly for 18 years and I am so excited to be on this path now, helping birth families with the birth of their babies and to then nurture them into the postpartum period.

Care philosophy

My philosophy is that I help emotionally support all birth people, during all births. Wherever and however you want to birth, I will be willing to help you. If you are a pregnant teen, I offer my birth package FREE OF CHARGE to you.

Nicole was caring compassionate and really present throughput the entire experience. I was induced so there was a lot of early time that Nicole was there to support me even before true labor started. I never felt rushed or like i was wasting her time. She was really great
