My name is Yael Woods, Holistic Reproductive Practitioner and Owner of Purple Lotus Fertility & Birth Services: providing support, empowerment, empathy, education and information to nurture women & families, during conception, through birth and into those first sweet weeks of life. I've been where you are and know what it is like to face the challenges of infertility, pregnancy loss and the triumph of overcoming your hurdles to hold your miracle. I will walk with you, hold space for you, see you and hear you, nurturing you as you go through your own journey toward realizing your dreams of creating a family. I offer mobile services to women and families across the Greater Houston Area and distance services Nationwide. I believe in and am committed to the total health of women, children and families. In order to make informed decisions about your pregnancy, labor, childbirth, and postpartum care you want for you and your baby, it is important to understand your options. Honoring your right to decide what you need to succeed, we will work together to create an intentional path to your optimal pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum care experience. I integrate approaches to help you prepare for motherhood, again or anew, with confidence, optimal health and joy while supporting your choices for a safe delivery at home, in a birthing center, or at a hospital. We will meet once every trimester and I will check in with you in between, more often after 32 weeks. We can modify the schedule as needed. Each 60-90 minute visit will center on specific needs for your stage of pregnancy, empowering and preparing you for a safe, healthy, happy pregnancy and birth experience, attending appointments with you, answering your questions, and getting to know you, your partner, and family. I will be at-your-side throughout labor, the birth, and afterwards, supporting your vision and needs. ​

EVERY CLIENT RECEIVES ... Lots of love and encouragement, an initial consultation, assistance planning your birth, direct access to me via phone, guidance on nourishing foods and self-care. Reflexology sessions for Fertility or during pregnancy, at your birth, postpartum and newborn training (optional). Access to education and resources, Energy healing sessions (optional), Postpartum vaginal steam for proper healing (optional). I will always respect your lifestyle and dietary choices, as well as religious and cultural beliefs. I am available to talk with you by telephone at any time.
