Hi I’m Summer! I’m a Birth Doula passionate about giving parents the tools they need to advocate for themselves and their birthing choices!

I first decided to become a Doula after hearing countless stories of doctors pressuring unnecessary interventions, making what should be the most special day of your life, into a traumatic experience. I was struck by how susceptible new parents can be to misinformation, and my goal as a doula is to eliminate that uncertainty and foster a loving and safe birthing environment for parent and child.

Of course the most important thing is that parent and baby are healthy, but that’s not the only important thing. I believe that as a parent your instinct is just as strong as that fetal ejection reflex and my job is to help you listen to it.
