Being a doula is my passion and joy. After having my own children and birth experiences, I could not stop thinking about birth. I was ignited to change careers and provide exceptional doula care to those in the Chicagoland area intending to have positive, empowering birth and postpartum support.
Rebekkah believes everyone who wants a doula, deserves one. She offers clients high level care as an experienced doula. She believes in providing clients with evidence-based information to guide them through their birth preparation, this is the key to having a positive birth outcome. As much as we plan, we cannot always control the path our birth takes, so its important to be empowered with knowledge through childbirth education and prenatal preparation.
Rebekkah absolutely loves how incredible the birthing body is, the physiological process of growing and birthing a baby is a life-changing experience, Rebekkah loves supporting clients who trust their bodies and want educate themselves about preparing both the mind and body. She loves to work alongside the birth team to provide the physical, emotional, and informational support throughout labor.
Rebekkah’s number one goal is ensuring every family is treated with kindness, respect, and nurturing care. Her wish is to provide all birthing persons (and their partners) the opportunity to feel supported, learn, grow, and be empowered to have their own positive birth experience.

February 10, 2023 at 10:56 am | Client reviewHaving Rebekkah as my doula was the best decision my husband and I made for our daughter’s birth. After an emergency c-section with my first child, I really wanted a VBAC. Rebekkah not only supported me in this, but encouraged me and reminded me that my body was capable to do it. During our prenatal visits, we discussed what we wanted birth to look like and she was very personable and supportive. She introduced us to many techniques that would be helpful. During labor, she had many exercises and positions to help ease the pain and get baby in the right position. She was a huge encouragement to me but also my husband! She worked so well with the hospital staff made a great team for us to have a successful VBAC. Rebekkah was also very supportive postpartum and checked in multiple times on our family. I am so thankful Rebekkah was part of our birthing experience. She is knowledgeable, personable, and very easy to work with. I would encourage anyone to have her as part of their experience as well!

February 11, 2023 at 10:43 am | Client reviewRebekkah was an incredible partner leading up to and during the birth of our son with her calming presence and evidence-based approach. I can say without a doubt that our birth experience would not have been possible without her coaching. She also photographed our birth – the pictures turned out incredible and will be cherished for years to come.
We also hired her for postpartum support as we adjusted to life as new parents. We initially looked forward to her nights so we could get sleep, but the added bonus was seeing the little things she did to care for our son. She has a vast toolkit of tricks as someone who works with many children, and we picked up a lot of good tips as first time parents. She would also share recommendations for other providers depending on what we were wrestling with that week (e.g. lactation, pediatric dentists, bodywork). There’s no manual that comes with a newborn, but Rebekkah made for a viable and helpful alternative.
If (and when) we do it all over again, Rebekkah will be my first call. Anyone would be lucky to have her by their side for pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum.
