Julie J. | Postpartum Doula in Houston, TX

My name is Julie. I am a mom to a beautiful 13 yr. old girl and a 18 mo. old black lab. I am also a Newborn Care Specialist, Lactation Educator, and an aspiring Postpartum Doula. My hobbies are spending time with my family and friends, along with reading and walking our pup. I have just began to pursue my love for photography, and would love the chance to take more pictures for the families I serve.
My interest in babies really began when I was a preteen. My mom was a teacher and I began babysitting for her co-workers. This steam-rolled into referrals and more and more experience. I began working at a local daycare in the infant room and then pursued one on one care as a nanny to 18mos old twins. The next several years led to even more newborn nanny families and this opened up doors to specialized trainings. I've trained in sleep conditioning, newborn care, twins and multiple care, and even lactation education. I love learning, and I hope to have even more trainings and certifications under my belt in the near future.
The families I have served throughout the years have given me the chance to gain the experiences I desire to take on even more challenges, and I know will be a great asset in the all my future families.
