My care philosophy is to support someone have the birth THEY WANT! I truly believe in accompanying and empowering birthing people to listen to their bodies and their needs, and to support them in their self-advocacy. Everyone deserves a doula! I believe in balancing the innateness of the body / baby knowing how to birth and access to medical pain management/ options.

Her ability to empathize enables her to translate all the information and help us navigate all the decisions that come with having a baby these days! Prior to working with Ellie as a fellow doula at Boston Area Doulas, we worked together at a non-profit in Boston. Ellie’s qualities and service to others shines through. She is loves intimately connecting to other people, deeply listening, providing emotional and educational support, and working to make the world a more equitable and just place. She loves to continuously learn as well. I’ve witnessed her be calm in the face of the unpredictable as well, and that is an incredible asset as a doula. She is incredibly comforting, grounding and positive. She is committed to keeping clients’ dignity at the front of her. She meets you where you’re at, deeply listens and makes you feel heard.
