Practice overview

I decided to become a doula after watching the birth of my first grandson. I completed my training through DONA International. I have since attended 12 births. I provide 2 prenatal visits, 24 hour a day phone contact from two weeks prior to your birth to two weeks after your birth. I will be in attendance during as much of labor and delivery you want. For example, if you would like me to begin support in your home I will, or I will come to the hospital or birth center to provide support. I will also provide a post delivery visit within two weeks of giving birth.

I am a wife, mother of four amazing children, and grandmother of seven beautiful grandsons and a granddaughter. I have experienced four natural childbirths and was the doula for the births of all but one of my grandchildren. I am a DONA International certified birth doula who believes that each woman can be empowered to experience childbirth on her own terms.

Birth Doula

$ 1000

My fee includes two prenatal visits, unlimited phone access, 24 hour phone access two weeks prior to your due date and up to two weeks after your due date. During labor, I will come to your house if you would like, or meet you at the hospital or birth center. I will stay with you the entire time of your labor. After delivery I will provide one post natal visit.

My labor was over 30 hours and Claire was there every step of the way. She was very soothing during labor and was so comforting. She massaged my back and it was the only thing that helped during the contractions. She helped me follow my birth plan so I could have an unmedicated VBAC.

I absolutely recommend Claire’s birth services. I really enjoyed her company and felt confident and secure because she was around. We can’t thank her enough.

Claire is attentive and knowledgeable. Her calm demeanor calmed me and heled to strengthen me during labor and made it so much easier for me to relax and allow my body to do what it was made to do. I felt her presence when I needed it and she was 100% on my team, never leaving my side. I would highly recommend you hire her.
