I am a mom of two. I’m a DTI and BADT trained full-spectrum doula. I became interested in being a doula after learning what a doula was and wishing I had one for my births! I’ve always been the friend people come to for advice and tips and this field really sparked my passion so it seemed like a natural fit. Being a full spectrum doula I am able to support birthing people thru pregnancy, birth, postpartum, as well as loss. I’m working towards offering conception support and offering prenatal yoga in the near future.

Care philosophy

I believe in caring for, supporting, holding space, and empowering mothers and birthing people. I believe every pregnant person and every type of birth deserves a doula no matter their socioeconomic status, race, creed, sexual orientation, or birth outcome.

I felt understood and advocated for! At first, I didn’t know the entire meaning of a doula, but once she came over and taught me all the exercises, a lot cleared up and many of the exercises really helped me feel more comfortable throughout my pregnancy. I was very appreciative! The most amazing part was while in the birth room. The amount of support and comfort provided was absolutely amazing. I wouldn’t change it for the world. Wish I would’ve gotten her earlier than I did because the help was truthfully worth it. When you have contractions and the breathing and console physically and emotionally are provided, you feel great! How I was advocated for after birth with helping form the proper questions was also very helpful! I would recommend her anytime! Wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! Thank you Aja! ❤️

We provide mentorship for new birthworkers, cesarean support, pregnancy/labor education, newborn and postpartum care. As of December 2021, we shifted away from in person labor support but have connected with new doulas that are looking attend births as a training requirement. We accept NJ Medicaid, Horizon insurance, and cash payments. Payment plans are available if needed!

Care philosophy

Why parent alone when you can get nurtured? Our care philosophy is strictly for the whole family. Not just the baby, mom, dad, guardians, grands or others but the whole family unit. Families and the surroundings support team if an individual has one places so much focus on the pregnancy and or delivery they forget the postpartum stage is the longest event. Or they put so much attention on a vaginal birth they forget some people medically need or end up having a cesarean. As a certified full spectrum doula and owner of Nurturing BayBees I want to change that. I want to show people what real postpartum care looks like, how to properly adjust after a cesarean, how to successfully co-parent, how to advocate for better health care, how to build better partner relationships and more. Not only am I a doula, I am a mother to 3, a family coach, a doula mentor, a infant/toddler caregiver, a former teach and former nanny with over 10 years experience in the postpartum industry as well as 5 years in birthing. I have attended many trainings from newborn care, lactation, fetal demise, culture competency, health education and more. My goal is to make the best experience out of a families situation with care suitable for them.

Little sister doula provided me the confidence and strength to follow through with my birth plan. Kimberly gave guidance without judgement and helped me discover a birth plan that was authentic to me and my values. She was there each step of the way. I’m sure I could have done it without her …but I am certainly glad I didn’t have to!

I have been working as a birth Doula since 2012, and as a postpartum Doula since 2017. I am dona certified for the use of a tens unit in labor, I am a HypnoBirthing Doula, and have completed specialized training in optimal fetal positioning. I am also the former co-leader of the Northern New Jersey chapter of Ican (international cesarean awareness network) and a facilitator of a new parents group. I have four kids of my own, the first born by C-section for failure to progress, and the other three in hospital Vbac. I often say I am not just a Doula, I’m a doula customer! I have attended everything from homebirth two scheduled C-section, so I am very much used to the multiple variations birth can present!

Care philosophy

My goal is to help clients get the information they need to make their own decisions and then I support them any way I can.

Anne is an amazing doula! She got me through 3 entirely different births and was there to support me the weeks after as well.
Anne put me at ease and helped me be excited about the births, especially getting me prepared with my first.
We encountered some tricky decisions with each birth but she helped me stay level headed. I also feel she took a great amount of pressure off my husband because he knew he wouldn’t be the only one supporting me through the births.
My first birth was an induction and she helped me use my Hypnobirthing and other methods to keep me relaxed and get me through the labor. My second was SO fast and Anne helped me process my precipitous labor.
My third was very tricky. I had two ECVs to try to flip him and ended up with an emergency C-Section. I could not have gotten through this experience without Anne! She even supported me afterwards working through what happened with the birth. This helped me greatly and I am forever thankful she was there to listen and hold space while I processed what happened.
I can only say positive things about Anne! I highly recommend her! I am so grateful and honored that she was a part of my children’s births!
