From our first phone consultation, we clicked immediately and I felt very comfortable with Parris given how evidence-based, knowledgeable and warm she was in our conversation. What I really appreciate about Parris is how attentive and responsive she was leading up to labor. I could reach out to her at any time to share what I was feeling, symptoms I was experiencing, etc. and she’d have a recommendation or would offer guidance based on what I was discussing with my OB. The day of my labor, she was at the hospital before we even arrived to help me make the walk to the maternity ward. She massaged my feet to help alleviate the pain I was feeling and helped me focus on my breathing. When my labor stalled, she helped the nurses get me into better positions and when I eventually needed a C section, she stayed late to ensure I could have her there for support after surgery. I would recommend Parris to anyone and loved working with her!

She’s very professional, intelligent, highly experienced, has an easy-going and calming personality, and is super knowledgeable about the entire labor and delivery experience. She was an invaluable resource both prenatally and postpartum! She was also a great advocate for us as we navigated communication with the doctors and nurses and helped to ensure I had a voice in all the decision making around pain management and interventions. This was my second birth at a hospital and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better support partner. ALL our praise for Parris!!!
