Hi, friend! My name is Kristen and I am a pregnancy and birth doula! After being a stay at home mom for years, I made the decision to become a doula after the most recent birth of our fourth child. I have a passion for bringing strength and empowerment to your birth experience, whichever way you choose to birth. I am Certified as a Birth Doula through Childbirth International and am currently studying Midwifery at MCU. I hope you’ll allow me the honor of meeting you and supporting you through your pregnancy and birth.

Pregnancy and Birth Support

I will happily attend home births, hospital births, and births at a birthing center. Whether you are planning an unmedicated birth, a planned cesarean, or anywhere in between, a doula can offer you so much support! I am trained in an array of both physical and emotional support techniques. The birth doula package provides you with two prenatal visits in your third trimester and one postpartum visit. I will also be on call 24/7 for your birth. I have a lending library of books that you may borrow, education on spinning babies, and I’m always here to answer your questions throughout your entire pregnancy and postpartum period.

Kristen is an amazing friend and support person. I had originally hoped to have her leave towards the middle of my labor because I do so much better alone, but she was so helpful that only a few hours in, We asked her to please stay, which she kindly agreed to. She worked tirelessly with us through the whole night. She had the nicest way of always being there supporting me, but never feeling like she was in my space. Her calming yet strong and quietly enthusiastic attitude was reassuring to my husband as well and allowed him to relax and support me more. She definitely made our experience better and I’m so thankful she was there.
