I am a wife and a mother of 3. I decided to become a doula after the births of my own children. I felt like I was not educated as well as I should have been on birth and my options with my 1st pregnancy. So the second time around I took a different approach to birth and really took ownership of my birth and had such a better outcome. I figured if I could achieve the birth I wanted others could too and all that was needed for that to happen was more education around birth.
