  My experience with Sheryll was absolutely amazing. I was a first time mom at the age of 46 and was seeking someone to help me through a stressful pregnancy and Sheryll was the sweetest and most patient soul. She is so soft spoken and full of amazing knowledge, and when it came time for delivery, she instilled a complete sense of calm in me. I highly recommend her as a Doula, she is wonderful.

My journey in birth work started at age 12, when I had the unique experience of catching my little sister. At age 22, I started my work as a volunteer doula in Vermont, serving members in the community who lacked support. My early volunteer work gave me a deep understanding of how hospitals function, and how to work with medical staff towards the best possible outcomes for parent and child. I wanted to start working with families throughout pregnancy and in postpartum, so I received further training through DONA. Having been through two training programs has given me a diverse range of strategies to employ throughout my support. This work has been part of me forever, and I feel so grateful to have been invited to participate in many births since. I have experience supporting medicated and unmedicated births with first, second, and fourth-time parents, queer parents, low-income parents, autistic parents, non-native English-speaking parents, sexual assault survivors, people with depression, and parents of color at Kaiser (San Leandro and Redwood City), UCSF Mission Bay, CPMC, and John Muir Walnut Creek.   I highly recommend Morgan as a Doula. I think she is going to be the next big thing and feel really lucky to have been able to work with her on short notice for my first baby. She is extremely warm, detail oriented, reliable, professional, enthusiastic and positive, and open and collaborative. I interviewed several doulas, including one who has been running a group practice for 10 years, and Morgan was by far the most responsive to what I had said I was looking for, and had the most collaborative approach with my loved ones and hospital staff. During the birth she was extremely available and helped to create a positive and cozy atmosphere and made the hospital room feel more like home. She helped us think through some difficult decisions on the day of as well. After the delivery, my nurse went out of her way to comment on how great Morgan had been with the hospital staff and said they would love to work with her again. Overall it was fantastic to work with her and I can recommend her without reservations.

As your doula, I offer continuity of care through the entirety of your perinatal journey, from pregnancy through to postpartum. I am a trained full-spectrum doula with Doula Trainings International. Additional supplemental training consists of - intentional breathing and relaxation, hypnobirthing, spinning babies, acupressure and moxibustion, and tantra.   Glen was my postpartum doula who stayed with me some days and some night. She kept me hydrated, made very tasty food and encouraged skin to skin time with baby. She’d use this time to do laundry or wash dishes and I really was able to focus on bonding with my baby and not about other things. She showed me how to keep my baby sleeping safe and helped me address my postpartum anxiety in so many ways.

  Rosevera was invaluable in supporting and leading us through the birth of our son. I wanted to have a minimal-intervention birth, and Rosevera was there to support the whole time during the labor, almost 24 hours starting at 2am! Rosevera was a great support to my husband, the medical staff, and especially to me in helping me emotionally and physically with moving and trying different positions. This was especially helpful in progressing the labor and allowing me to progress without an epidural. I give my strongest recommendation to Rosevera, you will be lucky if you can have her support at your birth!

I have over 20 years of experience working with children. I have been a babysitter, nanny, coach, parent, grandparent, and teacher. I have been working with children who are in their early childhood developmental years and have become fond of working with newborns and their mothers through their fourth-trimester journey.   Having Auriel at my birth was like having an angel watching over me. She was so quietly attentive during my entire labor and didn’t give up on me even when the hours stretched on. Her energy is very grounding and I felt so safe near her. The continuous care she gave us after our baby was born was amazing, I don’t know how I would have handled those first few weeks without her.

I am the mum of 6 beautiful children and each and every birth was unique whether it was at home, a birthing centre, or in a hospital. The level of care I received definitely impacted my birth experience and I really feel every mum should feel safe and in control of her choices, as much as she can when she is going through one of the most unique and special moments in their life. I breastfed all my children and have helped others to learn how easy and beautiful it is with the right support. Hi, I'm Grace. My pronouns are she & her. I live and work in the Bay Area, and I would love to be your birth & postpartum doula. I became an abortion counselor & doula in 2012, and have been working in the reproductive health & justice movement ever since. Over the years, I've learned from ups & downs in modern healthcare, seen a rich diversity of experiences with pregnancy, and witnessed how listening to someone with curiosity and authenticity builds a connection that enriches us both. ​I trained with Doula Trainings International to become a birth & postpartum doula in 2019, and am now in practice as Doula with Grace.
