I believe birth is an extremely important part of a woman's life. Her experience can cause trauma or it can be empowering. When she feels safe and loved and her voice is heard she will feel like she can do anything! My desire as a birth doula is to guide my clients into acheiving the birth they want through informed consent. Birth is very unpredictable but learning how to nagivate your choices and owning those choices helps you feel in control, even when things don't go as planned.
