As a doula for my birth experience she saved me from getting a c-section and was an amazing support throughout a long labor. She helped be a clear head when things were tough to make decisions that were of our best interests! Because of her I had a smooth and wonderful birth experience!!! Not only that, she supported me completely after the birth experience by a home visit and text support at any time. I was able to follow up with her with lactation help as well! She really is an amazing woman and has a unique set of skills and experience to help during what could be a very stressful and anxiety filled experience into a beautiful and joyful experience. I could write on and on about how great April is!

She listens and helps course correct, she holds your health as a mother (and your baby’s health) above all else. She empowers you to make decisions based on your own preference, but with information. There’s truly no better person to trust with your care. I lucked out on finding her during my search for a doula. She will be the voice in your head when you’re breastfeeding and things feel hard. She will be your logic during transition when you’re searching for any and all relief. She will be your game time quarterback and source of calm when things may not be going to plan. Run, do not walk, to schedule a consult with her!

Her focus on supporting the entire pregnancy rather than just the birth provided so much more support (physically, emotionally, and in a way spiritually) for my husband and I. I am so grateful for her support both during and after the birth. I hope to work with her again if we decide to have more children.
