I help women to prepare mentally, spiritually, and physically for labor. I combine my fitness experience with my birth doula work to create a unique offering for expecting and postpartum moms. I offer birth photography for no extra charge if desired.

I believe that the best way to prepare for an empowering birth is to spend time on childbirth education and helping my clients become clear on their goals. I am a Christian and love to work with women of the faith whom I can pray over. I am also a prenatal and postnatal fitness instructor and I support women in strengthening the muscles they need for an easier pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.

She is very kind, empathetic, and truthful when it comes to her profession. There was so much I didn’t know about birth until I met her. She told me about pregnancy care, birth and postpartum care that I simply couldn’t learn anywhere else. She helped me understand the labor process and understand that I do have rights as a pregnant woman when it comes to hospitals. She not only explained to me what to do through all stages, she was very attentive and talked to my husband one on one to help him understand too. In lieu of inducing, she encouraged me to labor naturally by going on walks and doing light exercise. Not only did she teach me about the process, she explained the vital role my hormones and diet and stress levels play too.
I will never forget her knowledge, care, wisdom, and honesty and I am so grateful to have had her throughout what would’ve been an otherwise pretty scary experience.
