    Practice overview

As a doula with seven years of experience in newborn and infant care, I understand the unique challenges that families face during the postpartum period. My philosophy is centered around providing compassionate care and guidance to help families navigate this exciting and challenging time. My primary focus is on newborn and infant care. Whether you're chest-feeding or bottle-feeding, I offer support and guidance to help you feel confident and empowered. I can also help with bathing, diapering, and other everyday tasks that come with caring for a newborn. I also offer meal prep and planning services. I know that finding time to cook healthy meals can be tough when you're caring for a newborn. I can also help with light housekeeping tasks, so parents can focus on bonding with their little ones. In addition to practical support, I offer emotional support and guidance to help parents adjust to their new roles. I know that the postpartum period can be overwhelming and emotional, so I'm always here to listen and offer words of encouragement. Even if in-home care is not something you are looking for, I can help with errands and other tasks that may be difficult to manage with a newborn or little ones. Whether you need help with grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, or running other errands, I'm here to help. Overall, my goal as a doula is to offer comprehensive support that addresses all of your needs during this exciting and challenging time. Whether you're a first-time parent or you're just needing an extra set of hands , I'm here to help you feel confident and empowered as you navigate this new chapter of your life.

Hiring Aiesha for postpartum support was one of my best choices. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and patient with me and my entire family during my postpartum journey. She also helped prepare wonderful meals that we miss. She ran so many errands for me and I’m so very greatful I got to spend time with my baby with her help.

Aiesha is the BEST! She is conscientious, caring, insightful, and proactive. Aiesha is the only person we trust with our infant son, and has also been a wonderful support to us as new parents. She is diligent and thorough with laundry & dishes, knows her way around a breast pump, and is experienced with food allergies. Aiesha is extremely punctual and can establish/manage a baby’s schedule. She also keeps great notes (paying attention to even small details) and communicates well. She brings a positive attitude and health-conscious mindset. Importantly, Aiesha strikes a great balance between asking a few key questions but also taking ownership of a task and figuring things out. Highly recommend!

Aiesha was a an integral part in helping us adjust to life as new parents, parents of multiples and preemies. She not only helped in care for our babies, but also became like a family member and a trusted resource and support system that we relied on in many ways. Aiesha is a wonderful communicator, an eager listener, and all around a joy to have as part of our lives.

Aiesha was our family’s full-time nanny for our twin boys from the time they were 13 weeks old (when I went back to work) until just before their first birthday. I highly recommend her. She is very easy to work with, takes direction very well, exercises excellent judgment, and most importantly, is absolutely wonderful with babies. She is very in tune with their needs and observant of developmental milestones. She is wonderful!

My husband and I had Aeisha help us when our newborn developed colic. The first time she walked in the door, my son was screaming. I asked her if it was too much for her and she said not at all and immediately helped me trying to soothe him. Since then she has helped care for him at night while my husband and I sleep. I can’t say how comforting it is to know that even though my son may have a bad night and be collicy/gassy/or otherwise uncomfortable, that Aeisha is there to care for him and comfort him. I am actually able to rest (and not just because I’m incredibly sleep deprived) knowing someone I trust is watching him. We are so thankful for her!

Aiesha provides such valuable support during the postpartum period. We work together remotely, and even though we live in different states, I feel like I can rely on her for a wide range of resources. She is knowledgeable about the care that infants need as well as evidence-based strategies to support them, and she is incredibly empathetic to mothers and their needs as well. She normalizes and holds space for all my feelings as a new mother, offers advice on how to navigate the challenges of raising a rapidly-growing baby, and always respects my opinions and boundaries when problem solving with me. If only I was lucky enough to live near her and receive all the additional support she can provide to her local clients! I truly enjoy the expertise and camaraderie I find in working with Aiesha, and I believe any new family would be lucky to receive her services!
