I have been a practicing doula since January 2019. I am certified through DONA international. My background is in social work and I realized that I was able to marry my social work skills with my passion for reproductive justice and supporting families.

I needed someone to educate me, empower me, encourage me and enable me to attempt the birth I wanted. Kristyn went above and beyond achieving all my requirements and more. My husband received the same education, empowerment and encouragement I did which made us a strong team. Together we had a successful VBAC that was more than magical. She consistently checked in on me during pregnancy and was always a source of encouragement. Giving birth to our son at home was so physically and emotionally challenging but Kristyn’s support helped tremendously! She is well versed in comfort measures, has so much knowledge about birth, and serves her clients above and beyond. She truly listened to my hopes and desires for birth and helped those come to fruition. She even helped my husband feel comfortable and confident during labor which meant a lot to me!
