Practice overview
I became a doula after realizing I was not being heard. I wanted a vbac and I knew I could successfully have one. I ended up having a home birth vbac and that was when I realized I was called to support birthing women during labor and birth. I often see doulas being called water fetchers and although I'm there to make sure you have water and ice chips, Im also here to help with pain management, breathing techniques, labor positions, affirmations, and making sure your partner is being supported as well.

January 2, 2024 at 5:43 am | Client reviewMariah was a gem during my pregnancy, birth and labor. She not only supported me, but supported my husband as well. I believe the birth I wanted was achieved because of the way she advocated for me to the nurses. Highly recommend and she’s affordable. I also had my placenta encapsulation done by her which she includes in her packages and it was an awesome experience!

I ended up with a c- section and she still remained advocating for me until the end. Even once we came home, she came over to our house to drop off my placenta capsules, slaves, tincture and my beautiful placenta print. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

January 4, 2024 at 10:17 am | Client reviewAs a mom of two who was expecting a 3rd I knew I wanted to have a birth as natural as possible. Due to being a risk for hemorrhaging I had to have a hospital birth, but I knew I wanted a doula there to help support and advocate for me. I searched for months for a doula before finding marriage. She was exactly what I was looking for. Someone informative, laid back, supportive, not overly crunchy, friendly, and a mom herself. She met with me a few times to go over all my questions, concerns, and birth preferences. When I went into labor she was at the hospital within 15 min of when I asked her to head over. She had incredible techniques and tips to help me powerhouse through it all. She made sure I had water and snacks and when it came time to push she went and got my nurse for me, who actually had me push, and delivered my baby before any dr or anyone else could come in. It was by far the most magical and powerful birth and I could not have gotten through it without Mariah. I refer to my last birth as my redemption birth and I’m so grateful I hired her and got her support. After baby was born she made sure to remind drs and nurses as they rushed in that I wanted delayed cord clamping and to hold and nurse my baby as long as I wanted before they took off with her for weight etc. She brought a cooler and made sure everyone knew I wanted my placenta. When discharged she came over to check on baby and I and to grab my placenta as well. She made art, a balm and did encapsulating
