I completed my doula certification in 2019, as well as my prenatal yoga instructor course. I also graduated with a Holistic Health Coaching Certification in 2020. I focus highly on Preconception and Prenatal Nutrition. I am the owner of Asherah Birth and Wellness and am honored to have Doula Vonda as part of my team. She has been a birth doula for over 40 years and is recommended by OB/GYN's, midwives and previous clients. We, together provide top quality service. At the time of hiring you have access to us 24/7. We work very closely with our clients to get them prepared for their birth as best as possible physically and emotionally. We are here to guide you to feel empowered in your body, mind and spirit so you can create an incredible, connected experience from conception to birth. This can include positioning of the baby, releasing fears surrounding birth, being an emotional support and much more. We bring a sense of calm to you as you and your partner can ensure you are fully supported in every aspect through pregnancy, labor, birth and for a postpartum visit. We are happy to provide service wherever the client feels most comfortable; hospital, home or birth centre. Each client is unique in what their most desirable birth is so we remain very adaptable and flexible to help assist the client to have the birth experience they desire. As a doula we labor with the client at home and help guide the birthing couple when it would be the most ideal time to transition from labouring at home to going to the hospital or calling the midwife. This is a very important step to help fulfill the mother’s birth plan and wishes and to take this stress off the couple.
