She was a calming presence in our birth. It was a huge relief to feel that I had someone who understood my goals in birth to advocate for me while I was laboring. I also want to specifically say that I loved that Jodi didn’t push the agenda of a certain type of birth. She presented the evidence for whatever I asked and then supported whatever decision I made. I never felt pressured into anything, which I had felt when I had interviewed other doulas. Jodi is fantastic and I would (and have!) recommended her to friends.
