When Jennifer became pregnant with her first child, she became fascinated with everything birth and began to research it all! Then, after a wonderful midwife and assistant who attended the birth of her second child, she knew she was going to be involved in birth work in some way. While pregnant with her fourth child she began her doula training. Jennifer wants women to know about the options available to them, so they are free to choose the best birth for them.

Once a pregnancy is known the planning begins, making sure everything is just perfect for the new baby. Sometimes, in all the hustle and bustle, the new mother gets left out. While being a new mother is a wonderful role, we must remember that it is not her only role. As a birth doula, my focus is on the woman during this period of pregnancy and birth.
