When I started this journey I was a mom of a toddler. My sister asked for my help when my niece went into labor. She said it had been a while since she had, had any babies. As her youngest was 16 at the time. I said it would be an honor. What I witnessed that day made me realize that the birthing mom needed someone to lean on. No matter who she had in the room.When I started my certification process my mother in-law was quite ill. She was the one who encouraged me to do this. Having seen me help my sister in-law get through the pain of childbirth and come out of it successfully. She said “Holly this is you're calling”. She was a firm believer in doing what you loved to do no matter the hours because if you love what you do then it is never a chore or a job. It is what you are meant to do. I feel this is my calling in every way. My children are grown and I have been serving mom's since 2003 as a Doula.
I am happily married to my wonderful husband of 27 years. I have two beautiful grown daughters.
My husband and I have recently relocated to the Tulsa area. We have made a home in Owasso and I look forward to serving the area.
