Honey Bee Births

    Practice overview

Honey Bee Births actually stemmed from an experience of loss. I have no living children but have given birth and know first hand how intimidating it can feel. After having my son, I found a bereavement doula that helped me work through my grief. She was incredible. Just her presence made me feel calm and supported and that sparked my interest in doula services. Then, I started the process to become a certified birth doula and I have fallen in love with helping pregnant people become confident with their bodies! I am just as invested in your birth as you are. Working with you through your labor and ending the day watching you interact with your sweet new addition fills me with such JOY. I truly feel like I have found my calling with this job.
I am mainly a prenatal, labor and birth doula- providing services to clients at the start of labor and seeing them through to when baby comes! I block my schedule out for two weeks before and after your due date to make sure I am available for you! I also provide bereavement services, if needed, to those who experience loss.

Liz has an amazing gift to truly immerse herself into your world and in your time of need. She respects the choices of her patients and empowers them to grow through their experience and journey into the next chapter of their story. I would recommend Liz to anyone who is looking for a peaceful presence with a hint of empowerment and a whole lot of love.

Grateful. I am beyond grateful. Elizabeth helped me through the breathing and contracting, the stress, the fear with an emergency C-section, and through the exhaustion. She was involved the perfect amount and was professional. Her suggestions helped tremendously! A big deal to me, is that She cared. She asked questions that I didn’t, she asked for things I wouldn’t have to make me more comfortable. She even came back to the hospital and met my little one after we settled! And I was an hour away! She captured memorable pictures for us, like this profile picture! Again, grateful. So grateful! She is amazing!
