I wouldn’t give birth again without her by our side to help support, encourage, and empower us. In pregnancy, Christin was so helpful with all the questions I had as a first time mom about labor and birth. She was only a phone call away, and the education she provided helped me to feel more confident. My labor and birth process didn’t go exactly as planned, and Christin was there with us in the hospital every step of the way to help give me space to think and make decisions – exactly what I needed! She helped me focus and breathe during contractions, helped coach my husband with how to help and support me, and gave me so much encouragement and hope that I could keep going and achieve the birth I desired. Which I did! She is knowledgeable, yet calming; assertive, yet compassionate. There is no one else I would more highly recommend for a doula!

Before birth, she taught my husband and I tips and tricks for natural birthing and answered our many questions about the process. After ending up in the hospital for an emergency induction due to pre-eclampsia, Christin came to the hospital to help me make decisions and move forward through a difficult and unexpected hospitalization. She stayed with me for the 36 hours it took to deliver, guiding me through every step. Her calm demeanor and gentle voice kept me calm. She held my hand, coached me through contractions, brought me ice chips, and even wiped me face with a cold washcloth when exhaustion tried to take over. Her knowledge of the process and how to take the next step forward was invaluable. I was then able to call her any time in the next couple of weeks that I had questions or needed sound advice from someone knowledgeable about birth and babies. I know without a doubt that aside from actually choosing to have a doula, choosing Christin made all the difference for my birth experience.

She brings so much experience but also the most calming spirit. I am confident that my births would have looked much different (and much less how I wanted) if Christin was not present. She positioned me, helped me with breathing, encouraged me and ensured that I was able to have the natural birth I dreamed of.
She is wonderful equipping birth partners also and made my husband felt so much more prepared and helpful during birth. Christin was also so helpful in pregnancy, always answering questions and helping to guide me through even the hardest parts. She is also someone you want to spend time with and a true joy to have around. I cannot imagine birthing without her!!
