I truly don’t know what I would have done without Angelica! I am so grateful that she was there with me throughout my pregnancy and birth experience.

During my pregnancy, Angelica was an invaluable resource for me and my husband. She helped us understand what we were going through at each stage of pregnancy, listened to and respected my needs and wishes, and gave me materials and tools to feel educated and empowered as I prepared for giving birth.

By the time I began my labor, I felt confident that I knew what to expect and what I hoped to experience because of the birth plan that Angelica had helped us prepare. A few weeks before my due date, Angelica had come over to our house and taught us some stretches, exercises, and tools to use while I was in labor. When I started having contractions, my husband and I felt confident because of this preparation. Angelica met us at the hospital, held my hand and helped me breathe through my most painful contractions, and instructed my husband on how he could help along the way.

When my son was born, he had a breathing complication that meant he was quickly taken to the NICU. In those scary moments after he was born, with my husband with our son in the NICU and all the doctors gone as well, I was so relieved to have Angelica there by my side to make sure I was okay and help me get through that experience. She stayed with me for a few hours and I couldn’t be more grateful for that. I can’t recommend her more highly!

Angelica was pivotal in me having an empowered birth experience. She is knowledgeable, kind, supportive and loving. She used her skills to make me feel comfortable during my entire labor. As I progressed she made sure to communicate with me each step of the way which helped alleviate any fears that I had. Anyone would be lucky to have Angelica on their birth team.

Angelica is very caring and personable. I could tell from our first virtual meeting that she would be easy to talk to. Angelica is very attentive and detailed in her work. I felt so calm during the birth of my son. It put me at ease knowing that she was there to not only support me but my husband as well. She made sure that I stuck to my birth plan and that the doctors understood what I wanted. Even after my son was born I remained in contact with her giving her updates on how he was doing. It was such a wonderful experience that she is my doula for this second pregnancy and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
