    For as long as I can remember, I have naturally found myself in helping roles. At the root of my desire to help is empowerment, continuity and a person-centered approach -- the same goes for my role as your doula. As your doula, I'm not here to choose your direction. Instead, I am here to be a reassuring presence and to help you navigate your course. I want you to know that you and your family are cared for, confident in your choices and well informed.

    I attended Colorado Christian University and received my business degree then moved forward in my doula education through Sierra Birth Institute classes and working alongside local midwivesand. Being a doula has allowed me to enjoy my journey into motherhood as well as also have a profession that I believe in deeply.

    I am Neonatal Resecutation and CPR Certified along with beinh a certified Midwife Assistant.

    I live in Roseville, California with my husband and our son, born in 2019.

    Birth Doula Package
    $ 1200
    I provide 2-3 prenatal visits lasting 90 minutes in length, focused on preparation for labor and postpartum. During my time as your doula, I offer unlimited phone and text service the last month of pregnancy and first 3 weeks postpartum. We will design a detailed and beautifully laid out birth plan. Leading up to/during your birth I provide physical, emotional, and informational labor support for you and your support partner to feel empower and informed. I am connected to a network of trusted birth professionals that I can connect you to based on your desires. After your birth, I provide 3 weeks of postpartum phone and email support with 2 postpartum visit.

    Postpartum Doula Hourly Package
    $ 40 /hr
    The first 40 days after you give birth is a sacred time of rejuvenation and healing. I desire to press into this with creating a space for your new family to be in a state of rest and wonder with the new little creation you have spent 9 months (often much longer) waiting for. I provide feeding support, aid in understanding baby cues, and care basics. I offer sibling care and housekeeping. I love providing postpartum nutrient-rich meal preparation to aid in the healing of your new mama body. I will provide a wealth of quality resources, non-judgmental family support, and infant sleep solutions. I will joyfully care for your baby when you desire to shower, nap, or more. I am also here to process your birth and postpartum experience.

    Postpartum Plus Package
    $ 1200
    Offering all the support from the hourly package but set in a simple set up of 3 visits, lasting 3 hours each, weekly for the first 4 weeks postpartum. This package rate saves you $220 and can often be a collective baby shower gift! It is incredibly important to be surrounded with support in your first 4 weeks to optimize recovery and ease of transition.

      Megan was my doula during my twin pregnancy last year. I have 4 older children, and had never hired a doula before. She was a Godsend! She has a peaceful countenance that breaks through any anxiety, she is compassionate and gentle. She is stalwart and vigilant to help at any moment, she made herself available to hear my heart when I was troubled and helped with the care of my 4 older kids. During my delivery she was by my side, playing the perfect music to keep me focused and calm. She coached my husband to support my back on one side with a rebozo while she lifted the other. After the twins were born she brought delicious lactation cookies and loving gifts, as well as helping me with the new babies. I felt a sister love from her and and am so grateful to her for her tender care!! I highly recommend Megan to any woman who is pregnant and would like comfort and help!
