I've been working with families for over 18 years now - in some capacity or another. I have two (adult) kids now (OMG everyone told me that would happen and I did not believe them). I've been to over 400 births and what I've figured out, is that there isn't a lot of fun anymore when we talk about kids - and dang - that is a bummer. Kids are fun, parenting can be fun, and birth doesn't have to be scary.

They mentioned she had magic hands which was completely correct during labor- she gave me the best back massage. Prior to delivery my husband didn’t completely understand why I wanted a doula but afterwards he said it was money well spent. Stephanie truly is amazing, calm, supportive, encouraging, kind and she always has your best interest at heart. She was there from start to finish and I am so happy she was my doula. The birth process is truly a marathon and if I had to choose again Stephanie would be my top choice. We were so lucky to have her.
