As a mentor, she has taken me under her wing, and has blessed me with more love, compassion, and support than I could have ever imagined. There isn’t a single question that has ever gone unanswered. From the first moment we met Shannon, my husband and I had an instant feeling of calm and nurture. She had an immediate connection with our newborn and we knew from that single moment, that both I (mom) and baby were in safe and caring hands. She was not only an expert with newborns and children of all ages, but as a new mom, felt like a safeguard against all the worries that new motherhood brings. When we welcomed our second daughter, we of course hired Shannon again. She supported our newborn through a medical emergency and we were able to get some rest knowing Shannon was with us. Our experience with Shannon has been nothing short of spectacular. Shannon embodies what it means to be a doula and we are so grateful to have her a part of our lives.
