Practice overview
I grew up in the Fresno area and moved away after graduating high school. My husband and I met in Ventura, where we had our first set of twins. We moved to Fresno when they were a few months old. We had another set of twins 2 years later. After the birth of my first set of twins and the struggles to feed them, I knew I wanted a different outcome for my next pregnancy and postpartum period. I got connected with local birth workers and hired a doula. Having that support was so important for me. I was able to do things I never thought possible. My second set of twins were breastfed for years longer than I thought I'd be able to provide for them. During my journey through early motherhood, I saw the struggles of myself and friends. I found a passion for helping others. While doing my training to become a postpartum doula, I realized I also loved learning about breastfeeding. This ignited a fire for me to complete the certification process to become a lactation counselor as well. You can find me in the community doing home visits or at Clovis Community Medical Center as a lactation specialist. In my free time, I love to travel the world with my family and also make frequent visits to Disneyland. I volunteer as president with the Fresno County Multiples Club, a 501c3 organization, and have held a board position since 2017.
