When my boyfriend and I first sat down with Kendra, she asked did we have a plan. We didn’t have a plan, the only thing planned was my schedule c-section. We discussed support system, breastfeeding, essential for mommy and baby and postpartum care. Kendra play a huge role in our support system. She always asked me what I needed, from sending links to showing me how to nursing Cooper. After, I had baby boy Cooper I was feeling kind of down. The reason why is because I lost my mom two years ago. My mom was around when I had my first baby. My mom planned a big role our life and I felt lost without her. I didn’t think I could operate without my mom. Kendra always was a listening hear and gave reassurance they I’m doing a good job. Kendra and I picked out days to make home visits. She helped whatever I need from making sure I ate to making sure I got enough rest. She has taken to my doctors appointment when I didn’t have nobody to babysit my newborn. Kendra has been a great help. I don’t know how my postpartum recovery would been without her.

Kendra is an amazing doula. She is very knowledgeable and experienced. Kendra has such a warm and kind spirit that puts moms to be at ease, she is also a big advocate for healthy nutrition during pregnancy and I love that she educates in that aspect as well. Overall I would highly recommend Kendra Lodon and enjoy collaborating with her in the birth community here in savannah.
