Hi, I'm Karen! I'm a Certified Professional Birth and Postpartum Doula in the Raleigh area of beautiful North Carolina. I'd be honored to have the opportunity to get to know you and hear about your birth goals and desires and provide support to you and your family as you embark on your journey to starting or expanding your tribe.

I became a doula so that I could provide support and empower both expecting and postpartum families to have better birthing experiences, to have the experience they not only desire but ultimately deserve to have. I received my certifications through the Madriella Doula Network in 2022. I'd be honored to have the opportunity to get to know you and hear about your birth goals and desires.

Your postpartum doula services include: 1 Prenatal appointment to get to know you! 3 in home visits per week for up to 6 weeks after baby's arrival Basic Newborn care and education, techniques to soothe your baby, baby-wearing Maternal postnatal care/Partner involvement Postpartum Care Class Lactation/bottle feeding support Light meal preparation and education on nutrition after birth and more!

Birth Doula Services

$ 1200

Simply put, a Birth Doula is a trained, experienced and certified birth professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to an expectant woman and her partner before, during and just after birth. She specializes in techniques that are known to shorten labor, ease labor discomfort, speed up the labor and birth process, assist with correct positioning of your baby and so much more! Your Birth Doula package includes: 4 Prenatal visits (more as needed) and Identification of your support needs. Parent Education (Pregnancy/Birth/Breastfeeding/Childbirth ) Create birth plan Create postpartum plan Meeting with your care provider if desired Unlimited phone conversations/text support continually

Karen truly listens to her clients and has a heart to help families through their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum periods, providing honest and informative resources as she assists them in welcoming their baby into the world.
