I don’t have words to express my gratitude for Jess. From our first meeting while I was pregnant, she immediately put me as ease and gave me confidence that she would be there as a key part of my support system after the baby arrived. Before the birth, Jess was an incredibly generous resource – helping to find a lactation consultant, answering random questions, and even calming me down when I called her crying after a scary OB appointment.

We never expected that our baby would be born early and require 6 weeks in the NICU. Our baby was discharged on a NG feeding tube and I felt overwhelmed by the medical equipment and special needs of our baby. I was shocked when Jess explained that she was still up for helping! Jess patiently allowed us to teach her how to navigate our baby’s needs and she helped us regularly with invaluable overnight care as well as day support when as I transitioned back to work. Our baby is now happy and healthy, and almost a year later I’m finally getting to this five-star review. Jess is an incredibly special human: the most empathetic and understanding supporter of moms and truly has an intuition that I’ve never experienced. I could ask her anything, express anything, need anything – Jess would just “get it.” She is exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend her to any woman who is considering doula support. I’m so grateful that our paths crossed when I needed it most.
