Practice overview
I'm a ProDoula Certified Postpartum Doula/ Infant Care Specialist serving San Diego county. I have also attended DONA approved Introduction to Childbirth for Doulas and am currently in training to be a certified Infant Feeding Specialist Prodoula. I currently specialize in overnight support in the San Diego area. I am committed to continuing to learn and expand my skills and knowledge to ensure that I am a valuable resource and support to people. My passion for offering support in the birth space started after I had my first child where I suffered great trauma from birth to postpartum. Lacking support during birth and postpartum made me realize how much support is needed in the birth space and beyond. Keeping a heart-centered approach to holistic support is my goal and I aspire to keep this in mind as I serve families in this space and beyond. I feel beyond grateful to be able to support families and be able to continue to serve the community with my knowledge, skills, and passion.

As a birth doula, I find it critical to have professional, experienced, knowledgeable, and trustworthy postpartum doulas and educators in my network. Janarra is always seeking further wisdom and certifications to increase the services she so lovingly offers.
