I provide in-home and virtual lactation support. In rural areas, getting around is not always easy. People often travel long distances from home to seek what limited supports are available. We live without a lot of the support services that urban areas have, and this lack of resources got me motivated to bring in-home lactation care to people in West Central Illinois. During a visit we can learn through a nursing session, weight baby, assess oral function, talk about pumping, and all the things pregnancy and postpartum. My passion is to help you meet your breastfeeding goals! You can do it!!

Care philosophy

My core philosophy is providing evidence-based and mother-led lactation support. As a mom I've had very different births with very different results and very different breastfeeding journeys. As a former NICU parent, c-section mom, and VBAC mom, I know that support is KEY to meeting your goals. Everyone deserves support from pregnancy, to postpartum, to first foods, to toddler-hood, and beyond!

Prenatal Visit

$ 200

Usually 1.5 - 2.0 hours, we meet and assess how nursing is going, weight baby, assess oral function, and many other things that come up along the way. Any concerns you might have will be addressed, and we will come up with an individualized care plan for you and baby! This is one of many packages we offer, please visit our website for more! Hillary guided me through my entire BF journey from the time I was pregnant until I decided to end my journey when my daughter turned 2. Her wealth of knowledge and experience was instrumental and extremely helpful. During my time with Hillary as my LC, she was able to connect with me through not only her own BF journey but as a fellow funeral director. She helped prepare me for my return back to work in a very high stress profession all while being able to maintain my supply and stick to a routine that would be best for myself and my daughter. I would NOT have been able to BF for two years without Hillary’s support.
