Practice overview
The first birth I attended was the birth of my niece in 2014—and I've been excited about pregnancy, birth, & fertility every since. I attend births in the Madison area, and I also offer 1:1 virtual childbirth education and support for people who are trying to conceive and people who have experienced miscarriages / fertility issues. I am also trained in somatic (body-based) trauma support and have tools for working with birth trauma, fertility trauma, and nervous system regulation.

I honestly can’t imagine my birth experience without her. She helped me feel grounded and calm before, during, and after giving birth. She helped me process the difficult parts and held space for my feelings. Working with her was empowering and lovely. I am so grateful she was part of my daughter’s birth story.

September 27, 2023 at 1:00 am | Client reviewAshley met with us multiple times prior to our birth to help develop our birth plan and ease our concerns. During my labor, Ashley helped us consider all of our options so we could make the best informed decisions for ourselves. She is a quiet, calming presence in the delivery room (and brings twinkle lights!) and helped me navigate my labor to advocate for myself.
Working with Ashley helped me feel supported and educated throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I can’t recommend having a doula enough, and Ashley goes above and beyond to make her clients feel supported, cared for, and well informed.
