Practice overview
I am a mom of 4. I have experienced hospital and home birth, unmedicated, minimal intervention, and NICU time.
As a doula I have supported moms in home births, birth centers, and hospitals.
I have attended births that included:
water birth,
unexpected home birth,
unmedicated births,
inductions,
Epidural,
Cesarean,
Midwifery care,
OB care,
First time moms,
Moms of multiples,
Single moms, and
Married/dating couples.
I encourage your support person to be very hands on as they are the person you trust the most. I want to be your guide and provide you with options/education along the way.
I provide:
1 free consultation,
2 prenatals in-person at your home,
Continuous support in labor and delivery, and
1 postpartum visit.

I was induced as well, so there were some extra things thrown in there as well and she did a very good job of helping me through the process. She helped keep my mind occupied by helping me through exercises and helping me stay calm through the process. If she wouldn’t have been there during my childbirth experience it would have been a whole different outcome for me and I wouldn’t have been as calm and relaxed as I was. She was definitely a support that I needed.

Before the birth, she met with us to discuss our options so that we were confident with our birth plan. She also showed me movements and exercises to prepare physically for childbirth. We were able to accomplish the birth we planned for because of Alyssa’s support. While laboring at home, she provided comfort measures that allowed me to stay home even when the contractions became intense. Once we arrived at the hospital, she helped communicate with the staff so that I could keep focusing on breathing through my contractions. Having Alyssa with us kept us calm and relieved our worries! She was such an encouraging and comforting presence every step of the way. AND she met with us after the birth to check in and made us a delicious home cooked meal. We will definitely call Alyssa for our next baby!!
