Shortly after the birth of my second child, I somehow found myself looking up “how to be a doula.” Although I had heard the term ‘doula’ before, I didn’t really know much about what a doula was or did at that time. But something, somewhere got me thinking that I needed to find out more about it... It didn’t take long for me to realize that being a doula would be the perfect way for me to exercise my passion for motherhood and be able to give back to my community. My company, Milestone Doulas, was founded to help growing families have the pregnancy, birth and postpartum experiences that they desire and deserve.
