Jocelyn S. | Birth Doula in Silverdale, WA

Beautiful Beginnings Doula Services

    Practice overview

I am a married mother of three grown adults! My husband and I just relocated back to Kitsap Co. to be closer to our families and I am excited to work here to support birth and postpartum clients. I feel that it is important to be certified as a doula as well and strive for a high level of competence as your doula. My first birth, at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton, was less than ideal and sent me on the path to discover how to make my next birth better, more fulfilling and empowering and ultimately is the reason I became a Doula. I enjoy supporting Military and Law enforcement families and offer a 10% discount to them.

Jocelyn was amazing. She really made sure she knew my husband and I well so that she could support both of us. During labor she was amazing and I couldn’t have done it without her support.

Working with Jocelyn was an absolute blessing during the birth of my first child. Her expertise, compassion, and unwavering support made all the difference in our birthing experience. Beyond her professional skills, Jocelyn became a cherished friend, and I will always hold our bond close to my heart. Her presence not only eased my journey into motherhood but also filled it with positivity and love.
She played a crucial role in helping my husband and I navigate a natural birth. We had several meetings with her before and after the birth, during which she provided invaluable education and guidance as this was our first time going through childbirth.
She instantly became on call 24/7 as my contractions started earlier than my expected due date, and her calm presence during labor was reassuring. She not only supported me during labor but also cared for us after the birth, ensuring we were adjusting well and providing much-needed postpartum support.
My husband and I will always have a special place in our hearts for Jocelyn. We are forever grateful for the impact she had on our lives. Thank you, Jocelyn, for everything.

Jocelyn was amazing! She helped me thru my fears, listened to my concerns and really educated me thru the entire process. She was an advocate for me. During my labor she was very attentive and helped me process my pain. She was the hero that my husband needed. Especially when he just needed a break and needed to walk away. I highly recommend Jocelyn!

As a fellow birth doula, I had the privilege of partnering with Jocelyn as we acted as backup doulas for each other. I loved her warm and friendly manner, and was able to have confidence in her levels of both knowledge and experience. In fact, when my own daughter was expecting, she chose Jocelyn as her doula, and it was such a relief to know that one of the people I love the most would have the excellent care and support that Jocelyn was able to provide!

If I could give a rating higher than five stars, I would! Jocelyn was able to take over and advocate for me when I was unable to do it myself, and when my partner and I were unsure of what decisions to make before and during the delivery process. She was there for us from the early stages of labor to when our baby was in my arms for the first time. She is both knowledgeable and creative in her methods and had answers to all our questions. She far exceeded the expectations we had and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for doula services!!
